Strategic Alignment is a challenge for current university management. However, its application had not considered process management and continuous improvement approaches that are required to accomplish strategic quality goals. This is a complex task because there are several ways for Strategic Alignment implementation. Process approach is a novelty in this concern. This work is aimed to show a procedure to achieve the Strategic Alignment between Process Management and current strategies at universities by means of Management Control, based on a Continuous Improvement approach.
