This article presents an exploratory study on digital skills and use of digital services (e-services). In addition, the motivation of a group of students from the Faculty of Health at the University of Pamplona to access these. The aim of the research is to analyze the use of Information Technology and Communication by students. To achieve the objectives set out to use a methodology consists of three stages: i) determine the context, ii) data collection, and iii) reporting and analysis of results. The results achieved were: characterization of students who participated in the study, identifying the conditions of access to ICT infrastructure. Also, it was identified that the study population had difficulty using online forms and identify safe environment for transactions. This lack of digital skills, coupled with technical and economic aspects, make the students make use of e-services is limited. Regarding the use of services, it was identified that the entire population evaluated has access to communication services and entertainment. Their use of e-services in education, health and work focuses mainly to informational services. Finally, the results constitute a basis for identifying aspects to be reinforced in the process of training provided by the university.
