Resumen

APARICIO-GOMEZ, Daniel Fernando et al. A Systematic review of the physiological impact of short operational military courses for soldiers. Rev. Cient. Gen. José María Córdova [online]. 2019, vol.17, n.26, pp.432-451. ISSN 1900-6586.  https://doi.org/10.21830/19006586.402.

A systematic analytical and experimental review of military training studies published between 2008 and 2018 in indexed journals was carried out to identify the physiological repercussions of combat courses on soldiers. The search yielded 483 articles of which 48 were selected according to the inclusion criteria. It was concluded that, worldwide, the physiological changes produced by the exercises during short courses are essential and benefit a soldier's life as a combatant because training increases and often improves biomechanical and motor conditions. However, sleep deprivation, hypocaloric intake, and excessive over-load negatively affect biomechanical conditions and lead to injury or illness.
