Objective.
To analyze the historical reality of criminal activities carried out by members of the military forces since 1975 in some countries of South America. The transnational chase of the alleged terrorists, communists and generally dissidents of the different governments as generators of insecurity in the region, caused them to be disappeared, killed, and tortured.
Methodology.
This article is part of a socio-legal research in which a legal-doctrinal method was used.
Results.
The so-called “Condor Operation“ to achieve security, degenerated into the commission of crimes that were committed using the phenomenon of State terrorism, which underlies the terror practices carried out in the continent with the support of the USA.
