Through the history of social interactions, the figure of harm has been presented as something performed against other person and can infringe the physical, patrimonial and emotional integrity, turning him or her into another victim of a prejudice. The repair to the victims has been subordinated to a series of historical evolutions as well as the appearance of academic disciplines that have concerned in conceptualizing this problem, testing their reaches, limits, difficulties, and controversies. This article pretends to analyze the perspectives that have been protagonist in the appearance of the concept of repair to the victims, focusing in two approaches, one of them is juridical and is studied from the theory of the extracontractual civil responsibility, and the other of them is philosophical-political based on the theory of human rights and the theory of justice, taking into account the analysis from the transitional justice and the restorative justice.
