Cargo agencies within the foreign trade logistics chain are an important player in the process of international physical distribution; this type of organizations must solve problems for both users and carriers; they also support the transport and handling of the cargo from the point of departure at the origin to the delivery point at the destination. Through a quantitative descriptive analysis, the aim is to analyze the relevance of the cargo agencies in the Colombian capital in the development of transport services in international trade. The findings will allow to propose alternatives for the improvement of the internationalization of goods through the good use and exploitation of load agencies in such a way that there is a joint benefit for the academy and the productive sector.
