The integration of money in the theories of value is one of the aspects that, recently, have taken on greater theoretical relevance, although there are no models that have found a generally accepted a solution -if it exists- that models private agents in a competitive and decentralized system. In the case of the critique on political economy, it is an issue that was raised by Marx, with hits and misses. This research paper suggests resuming Marx's monetary theory, but through a heterodox or rather critical path; namely, the movements of goods are detached from money, treating it not as a commodity, which comes to indicate that money logically precedes value. Aspect that the most recalcitrant Marxism would not be willing to accept. With this, theoretical sterility buries one of the most important aspects of Marx's analysis: the socialization of private agents in a decentralized market with the possibility of a "somersault" of the merchandise, this idea is what is rescued in this research.
