Resumen

CEPEDA H, Juan  y  BOLANOS FLOREZ, Edwin. IN SEARCH OF WHAT IT IS: HUGO MUJICA'S ONTOLOGICAL POETRY. Escritos - Fac. Filos. Let. Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2016, vol.24, n.52, pp.161-183. ISSN 0120-1263.  https://doi.org/10.18566/escr.v24n52.a08.

The article is an attempt to carry out a philosophical exercise in two levels: theorizing and experience. Thus, both levels are put at stake in order to reach one common space: the borders with which we might enclose the profound meaning of being. To carry out such an exercise, the poetic work of Argentinian poet Hugo Mujica is considered. Some elements of philosophical analysis are found in the works of Martin Heidegger and Emmanuel Levinas, which might be used not only to assist with the process of interpretation, but might also come to life in the profoundness of his poetry. The method employed is that of existential hermeneutics, focusing the hermeneutics elements on providing a context for the written work as well as its interpretation, while the existential elements are considered at the moment of interpreting the poems. The most significant achievement of the article is to expose the ontological features within the poetry of Hugo Mujica.
