Abstract This paper presents an overview about the Internet of Things (IoT) in health area, focusing on solutions that currently exist in home-centric health. The IoT implemented in health area, allows that many people, regardless of their social class, using the services through the IoT could offer, and many countries are being implemented. Considering that in the coming decades, the model will transform health care in this hospital-centric commonly known to a health model focused entirely on the home, in which lower labor intensity and operating costs will be taken at home. The health service at home allows get advantage about the use of IoT technology, often called as IoT Health. This sounds promising for the health industry and the ICT sector in general, because it let you to customize the sanitary service, accelerating their evolution.
