The MED journal is the embodiment of scientific and academic dissemination in the Faculty of Medicine of the Nueva Granada Military University. Its main objective is to promote and improve the knowledge of the national and international scientific community within the scope of Medicine and Health Sciences. To meet such ends, it strives to maintain a high quality editorial management, with the goal to publish manuscripts of high academic rigour that reflect the contributions made to the medical area. It comprises a space for the analysis, reflection and the socialization of investigative products from the medical and health science disciplines in our country, and a platform for the integration of other collaborative networks within the diverse communities and institutions of investigation interested in this area around Latin America. Its audience is constituted by investigators, professors, students, general doctors and other specialized doctors belonging to different public and private institutions of national and international order in the different health areas.
