MASPERO, Giulio  e  SOLANO PINZON, Orlando. Being, History, and Mercy: The Oikonomia in the Discussion between Gregory of Nyssa and Eunomius. Theol. Xave. [online]. 2018, vol.68, n.186, pp.121-144. ISSN 0120-3649.  https://doi.org/10.11144/javeriana.tx68-186.esmld.

The study covers the uses of the term oikonomia and its derivatives in the works of Gregory of Nyssa dedicated to the discussion against Eunomius. The analytical perspective allows us theologically to reconstruct the ontological value of mercy from the perspective of the relationship between being and history. The constant actuality of Christian thought can, in fact, be found in the Trinitarian dimension of the Christian God, which as characterized by an immanent relationality is revealed as a relationship in the filiation of the Word who became flesh, in such a way as to pour into history itself the own life. The use of oikonomia is, therefore, linked to the Trinitarian ontology of the Nyssen.
