Managing people in organizations requires social and human responsibility towards their employees, not only to achieve the strategic and competitive objectives of the companies but also to ensure the well-being and quality of life of their staff. To ensure Internal social responsibility, organizations rely on socially responsible human resource practices, which are actions taken by the company to attract, develop, motivate, and retain employees. In this context, the purpose of the study that gave rise to this article was to analyze socially responsible human resource practices In medium and large industrial and service enterprises in Ibagué. The research was quantitative, utilizing techniques of descriptive and multivariate statistics. The sample consisted of 70 companies, selected through stratified random sampling from a population of 85 organizations. A structured questionnaire was administered to the selected sample. The results of this research highlight that, although most of these organizations apply concepts related to internal social responsibility and socially responsible human practices, there is still much work to be done in this regard. There are critical variables that do not receive the required attention, including promotion, training, and professional development of employees, work-life balance, discrimination against women, and disabled populations.
