Objective: To present an overview of the Termisul research group work and to report some results of its latest initiative of studies on specialized languages patterns from 2006 up to now. Method: Description of the Project Termisul Collection: patterns of legal, regulatory and scientific languages and some of the related sub-projects. Results: The latest stage of thic project mainly characterized by corpus-based research and by the publication of the results on the web page http://www.ufrgs.br/termisul. Conclusion: The corpus based research approach of the work and the on-line presentation of its outcomes have been a strong contribution to the teaching of Terminology and Translation.
