Objective:
describe the evolution of human rights in the historical context of Western democracies from the mid-20th century to the beginning of the 21st century.
Method:
documentary analysis of the texts consulted in order to prepare a detailed exposition that allows an adequate description of the evolution of these rights in the West.
Results:
human rights, respect for individual freedoms and the application of political systems with regular democratic elections have been the calling card of the main democracies in North America, Europe and Oceania.
Conclusions:
the results obtained allow us to conclude that the political evolution of democracies in North America and Western Europe allowed the institutionalization of political regimes that adopted the implementation of viable democratic systems, which after the end of the Second World War promoted the application of the DD.HH. as an integral part of international laws and regulations.
