The essay critically examines the papers on the philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein published in Ideas y Valores, seeking to explore the richness of our interpretations of one of the great philosophers of all time. I enquire if these philosophical writings show an evolution along the journal's history, and wonder whether this examination may give us a clue about our philosophical development. I close by making some brief remarks about what it means to do philosophy at the periphery, some possible advantages of being at such a location and, finally, I point out the need of undertaking a more collective work.
