ORTIZ PIEDRAHITA, Vanessa  e  BARON GOMEZ, Aura Alcira. Subjective effects and resistance practices of makaguán women from Fortul-Arauca, victims of forced displacement. Rev. colomb. soc. [online]. 2023, vol.46, n.2, pp.265-289.  Epub 15-Maio-2024. ISSN 0120-159X.  https://doi.org/10.15446/rcs.v46n1/95752.

The present research is framed in the field of social sciences and its primary objective is to identify the subjective effects and the respective coping / resistance practices developed by a group of indigenous makaguán women from Fortul-Arauca, victims of the armed conflict in Colombia. This research was developed through an intersectional theoretical lens. In other words, life stories traversed by violent events in Colombia were analyzed from a gender, ethnicity, and social class perspective. In methodological and epistemic terms, this research was built from a hermeneutical / qualitative and decolonial approach, where the voices and discourses of those women victims of the armed conflict were privileged. One of the main findings of the investigation made reference to the desire for social reintegration to their territory of origin, from which they were displaced and expelled for a decade. As a result of the displacement, makaguán women and their families have suffered material, subjective, and symbolic affectations that still affected them. Despite the fact that in 2018, the community obtained by law the right of return to its territory, they have not yet been reintegrated. Several attempts have been made to restore their rights, however, a clear consensus has not been reached between the authorities of the Cusay la Colorada reservation in Fortul-Arauca, the displaced women, and the Government. This year approaches are being made once again between the parties involved, with the aim of restoring violated principles as those related to the right to life, territory, cultural identity, autonomy, and community participation. The article concludes with some suggestions and recommendations for the effective implementation of the public policy for victims of violence in Fortul-Arauca, based on a gender, differential approach, and in accordance with the life plans of the makaguán community.
