Unapal-Llanogrande, is a pumkin (Cucurbita moschata) breeding population, originated from the second germoplasm colombian colection obtained for Consuelo Montes (2003). The heterogeneous population P-34 was subjected to three cycles of phenotypic recurrent selection that were carried out at Experimental Center of the National University of Colombia, Palmira, Valle del Cauca. Plant production, plant prolific, small fruit weight, fruit quality and tolerance to diseases and pests were evaluated. The Unapal-Llanogrande, had height uniformity and stability postrate growth habit, low number of branch per plant, 60-70 days to male and female flowering, 130-140 days to harvesting. Fruits had a round shape, green whit yellow an red spot colors at maturity, fruit weight 1.5.3.0 kg, flesh thickness 3.8-4.8 cm, placental cavity diameter 9-12 cm and yellow flesh color.
