The article studies the circulation of psychoanalysis in two academic journals (Psique en la Universidad and Revista de la Universidad de Buenos Aires) published at the end of the 1950s and beginning of the 1960s, in order to analyze the discursive web underpinning this field and the gradual establishment of a psychoanalytical discursive tradition. To this effect, the article discusses discourse studies and considers three essential aspects: the enunciative device, the construction of psychoanalytical knowledge, and the incorporation of the speech of others. On the basis of this analysis it was possible to determine that while the journals differ with respect to enunciative devices and citation practice, the configuration of psychoanalytical knowledge varies depending on the authors' institutional affiliation and education.
