BENAVIDES, Christian Eduardo. Philosophical cominciamento in Thomas Aquinas and Hegel according to Cornelio Fabro. Prax. filos. [online]. 2018, n.46, pp.171-187. ISSN 0120-4688.  https://doi.org/10.25100/pfilosofica.v0i46.6166.

The cominciamiento philosophical instance refers to the absolute first step of thought, which is the presupposition and ground of all content, mode and subsequent act of thought itself. In modernity, the start instance is vindicated by Hegel, who, like Thomas Aquinas in the Middle Ages, conceives “being” as the beginning of thought. Despite this convergence between both authors, there is a deep speculative divergence. Both, convergence and divergence will be examined in this paper, by following the researches of the Italian philosopher Cornelio Fabro.

Palavras-chave : beginning; being; thought; ground; awareness.
