Based on the experience, the documentary review and the systematization of the information, within the framework of the project Strengthening Gender Equity in Higher Education (Feges), the purpose of this article is to make a descriptive account and a critical reflection on the policies of equity, equality and inclusion formulated in recent years in some Colombian universities, the factors that favor their design and implementation and, finally, the difficulties and challenges faced by the institutionalization and effective appropriation of the equity of gender and inclusion in universities in the country.
