Emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases originated in wild life animals can be transmitted to human population either by direct contact or by vectors. The arising of emerging infectious diseases is linked to loss of biodiversity by anthropogenic factors due to destruction of natural habitats, fauna and flora smuggling and the loss of genetic diversity. All this aspects play a role in the arising of reemerging infectious diseases.
