QUIROGA ZULUAGA, Marcel A. Between fickleness and carelessness: The failed chimila missions at the end of the 18th-Century in the Caribbean. Hist. Caribe [online]. 2015, vol.10, n.26, pp.257-289. ISSN 0122-8803. https://doi.org/10.15648/hc.26.2015.9.

Despite their collapse, the eighteen-century Chimila missions marked the end of a long history of armed struggles between Spaniards and Indians.
