Geomorphological characterization is a descriptive element of the landscape that allows us through the identification of units and specific geophysical features resulting in time. This work presents an alternative to the identification of such units in the landscape complex of the archipelago of San Andrés and Providencia, by using spectral indices from WorldView 2 and 3 satellite images, this can improve the pictorial-morphological identification of images typically used. The results, in contrast with those published by authors; let you identify, detail, estimate and evaluate one greater number (more than ten) of geomorphological units to scale 1:2 000, which were verified through statistical validation integrated with field data. In the case of results obtained through traditional methods as I ecosondeo multiband and direct observation sin the field, sometimes they tend to throw information of higher resolution and detail of the seabed, accompanied by an ecological description of the area most successful; However variables such as effective area of capture, accuracy, spatial coverage and geomorphological units discrimination of these methods are punctual type, which means that these are not as effective at the time of their choice due to the complexity that they require and their execution times.
