The immaterial heritage of civil and industrial construction in Argentina is part of the long passage of time, in an evolutionary chain that connects the distant beginnings in colonial times, through the stage of the structuring of the modern nation, down to the present. That intangible memory, visible in the oral histories, poetry, drawings, photographs, films, objects, shaped, events and various vicissitudes, is an indissoluble part from the built, and requires to be looked at carefully. The implicit and explicit cultural capital which carries this heritage highlights the importance of the values related to work, to fraternity and to solidarity, and its knowledge may allow us to assemble the necessary warp and a more complete historiography of the production.
