We gladly publish the 34th issue of Revista Ingenierías Universidad de Medellín.

It is a great pleasure for us presenting these 13 papers which give shape to this issue with its still transitioning and implementing phase of the OJS platform on its third version to have a better editorial process and shorter response times. The su pport and understanding of the authors, the supporters, the editorial committee of the journal, the Sello Editorial Universidad de Medellín, among others, have been key aspects.

Our goal is to keep growing as a high-quality scientific publication, not only for achieving a better position in higher impact databases but for giving our readers interesting and high-quality contents for Latin-America that makes justice to the internationalization and continuous improvement processes we are working towards.
