MARTINEZ MAMIAN, CARLOS AUGUSTO et al. EVALUATION OF TWO STAGES PHENOLOGICAL OF 114 ACCESSIONS OF Tadehagi triquetrum IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTANDER QUILICHAO - CAUCA. Rev.Bio.Agro [online]. 2010, vol.8, n.2, pp.72-78. ISSN 1692-3561.

We evaluated two phenological stages of 114 accessions of Tadehagi triquetrum forage species used in animal feed, which are from Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea plant material that is part of the program genebank fodder International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). These accessions were originally planted in the greenhouse of CIAT forage program Palmira and after 8 weeks were transplanted to the final location on the grounds of the CIAT experimental substation Santander de Quilichao. Each accession was planted in a row of three plants. It took into account four variables of the crop (days to first flower, days to 50% flowering, days to first pod and days to 50% pod production) and three environmental variables (precipitation, sunshine and temperature). It was found that the accessions of Tadehagi triquetrum presented their first flower at an average of 137 days and 50% flowering to 156 days after sowing in the field. The last two variables related to the production of pods were directly related to days to flowering, because on average 14 days of submission of the first flower first pods were observed. Only environmental variables, temperature had influence on the phenological variables evaluated material.
