The Universidad ECCI has been training professionals in various branches of science technology and the arts for 37 years, professionals who have gone on to strengthen all sectors of the Colombian ECONOMY. This incessant work training technicians, technologists and professionals has now reached a new level with the recent change in our academic character. With ministerial resolution 13370 of august 19, 2014 the Colombian School for industrial studies (ECCI, its Spanish acronym) is now Universidad ECCI. This new achievement is the fruit of the joint effort of a great team composed of all academic staff, administrative staff, the student body which is the foundation of the university and alumni the institutional image of the university in society.

The students are the subjects of our education and we continuously work to improve our processes in order to graduate technologists and professionals with the latest and best skills thus further strengthening Colombian society. The road is not yet complete, since the path of education and excellence now involves new and more demanding challenges. Hence, the university has always aimed to be a university recognized for its high quality in the substantive functions of teaching research and extension maintaining its principles of humanism and technology the pillars that have endured through the years into the third millennium.
