The objective of this article is to determine the way the reparation and participation of the victims of the Colombian armed conflict was conceived in the Victims Law 1448/2011 and the point on the victims of the Havana Peace Accords, signed in September of 2016 between the government of Colombia and the group of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARO). Hence, a comparison is made between these two guidelines showing the way the reparation and participation were established, and thus, showing whether these two are complementary or differ.
