HERNANDEZ MARTINEZ, José Edigardo  e  ESTAY REYNO, Jaime. Determinants of Foreign Direct Investment in Mexico, 2015-2012. Ens. Econ. [online]. 2018, vol.28, n.53, pp.65-91. ISSN 0121-117X.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ede.v28n53.75074.

The objective of this work is to analyze the variables that influence the decisions of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) toward the Federative Entities of Mexico in the period from 2005 to 2012. This is done under the sub-paradigm of localization of the OLI model (Ownership, Location, Interna-lization). In this regard, the Ordinary Least Squares Model (CMM) is estimated to measure the statistical significance of the impact of the determining variables of the FDI that reaches the states. According to the results of the model, it is concluded that market sizes, education levels, water infrastructure, highway, telephony and manufacturing activity levels generate a positive and statistically significant impact on FDI flows to the Federative Entities.
