Introduction: The violence in Colombia, especially in children, took the first places at the moment to prioritize the problems in health, not only for its size if not for the strong impact and the repercussion that it has it has on children's mental health. Objective: To determine the prevalence of nursing diagnosis in school children displaced victims of social and intra-family violence. Materials and methods: prevalence study. The sample comprised 56 children of school age in the primary grades 1 to 5 selected for convenience. We used a form of valuation validated. We calculated the prevalence of nursing diagnoses, with a confidence interval of 95%. Results: The most prevalent diagnosis were Willingness to improve self with a 100% provision to improve communication with 85.7%, Fear with 75% and Risk of post-traumatic syndrome with 60.7%. The lowest prevalence was: ineffective coping had a prevalence of 37.5%, risk of violence directed at others with 16.1%. Discussion: It was found that children presenting post-traumatic syndrome diagnoses also had fear diagnosis. It requires more attention by health staff is handling the rape trauma syndrome which appears with a 7.1%, corresponding to 2 boys and 2 girls with this diagnosis. Conclusion: School children displaced victims of the social and intra-family violence presents a considerable number of psychological diagnoses that require careful assessment and management to enable them to cope with the trauma experienced, that is not done in an appropriate manner could be considered a population at high risk for disorder mental.
