BEDOYA ROJAS, Diana Isabela; DUARTE HIDALGO, Lina María e CARVAJAL MARIN, Luz Mery. Driver identity in the context of jointly work organizations. Univ. Psychol. [online]. 2005, vol.4, n.3, pp.297-305. ISSN 1657-9267.
This article systematizes information of a research project developed during the year of 2002 which had the purpose to describe and analyze discourses of a group of operators of Bogotá’s massive transportation system TransMilenio. Discourses are part of cultural repertoires that construct their work identity. A group of eight drivers of an operating company which led the proposal of Associated Work Organizations- OTAS- as a contracting alternative, were interviewed. The discourse was analyzed having constructionism as a theoretical background; this orientation implies three essential aspects: language, culture and relationships (Gergen, 1996). It was also necessary to deepen into the Economical Solidarity Model. A qualitative ethnographic focus and discourse analysis was adopted (Potter and Weterell, 1996).
