This work seeks to analyze the importance of interpersonal relationships as an essential part of social life having a direct impact on the development of the human being, for which it is necessary to identify how interpersonal relationships affect the interior of the Technological University of Chocó "Diego Luis Córdoba", to contribute to the improvement of employee performance. For the development of the research, eight dimensions were used, such as: interpersonal relationships, organizational culture, communication, availability of physical resources and knowledge, autonomy and decision-making, motivation and support, carried out through a qualitative cross-sectional study with a quantitative support on a sample of 62 people, which showed that communication is the dimension that most correlates with the other dimensions studied, allowing to conclude that it affects directly, because maintaining good interpersonal relationships favors and increases the productive level in every institution.
