This article studies the regulation that protects the rights of children and adolescents against advertising in Colombia, based on their recognition as subjects of special constitutional protection. To do this, it uses the principle of the best interests of the child as a guide for the formulation and interpretation of the rules on advertising that affect this population group, and also points out specific obligations for both the State and the business sector, in order to materialize the protection due to each of these subjects.
