RAMIREZ-PLASCENCIA, David. Digital Journalism and Editorial Policy on Plagiarism: A Necessary Discussion but one that is Lacking. Palabra Clave [online]. 2015, vol.18, n.1, pp.111-130. ISSN 0122-8285. https://doi.org/10.5294/pacla.2015.18.1.5.
The world of journalism has undergone major changes in recent decades, but perhaps the most decisive was the incorporation of information and communication technology into the process of drafting and spreading information. However, the ethical frameworks guiding the journalistic function in virtual environments have yet to be modified and adjusted accordingly. The purpose of this paper is to link the absence of editorial policies on digital portals to the problem of plagiarism in journalistic work and to underscore the importance of a discussion on ethics in the digital press.
