In recent decades, studies of sociability have been involved in significant progress. From the moment they are assumed by historians in their research, the tools obtained allow them to rethink their studies and provide elements for a more complex and comprehensive historical reconstruction. On this theoretical basis, this scientific research article assumes the study of associative process developed in Santiago de Cuba, from its origins to its future development throughout the nineteenth century.
