RATTI MENDANA, Florencia S.. Best practice in the use of sources and citations in judicial opinions. Rev. Fac. Derecho Cienc. Polit. - Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2022, vol.52, n.136, pp.288-317.  Epub 04-Set-2022. ISSN 0120-3886.  https://doi.org/10.18566/rfdcp.v52n136.a12.

Justification in judicial opinions frequently involves the use of sources that become part of the opinion as indirect discourses through citation. This work argues that judicial opinions should not contain useless and inapplicable sources or mistaken, imprecise and deficient citations. It also provides some examples of those kind of inaccuracies taken mostly from Argentinian case law. Finally, it examines which rules should be followed to guarantee best practice in judicial opinion's sources and citation.
