ESTRADA-JARAMILLO, Lina Marcela; MAYA-ZULUAGA, Marta Cecilia; MILLAN-OTERO, Katy Luz  e  VASQUEZ-SANTAMARIA, Jorge Eduardo. Contemporary debates about Family, Childhood, and Adolescence Law from a legal and socio-legal research in Colombia. Rev. Fac. Derecho Cienc. Polit. - Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2022, vol.52, n.137, pp.656-685.  Epub 22-Maio-2023. ISSN 0120-3886.  https://doi.org/10.18566/rfdcp.v52n137.a13.

With the purpose to demonstrate the transformations of legal and socio-legal research in Colombia, this study focused on the state of legal and socio-legal research in Family, Childhood, and Adolescence Law until the year 2020, issues that were taken over as objects of knowledge, from which objects of study emerged triggering projects and lines of research that made it possible to recognize both the academic community that was dedicated to research based on these three objects of knowledge, and to understand the interests, needs, and concerns that gave rise to the projects attached, or not, to lines of research that had been explicitly declared in Family, Childhood, and Adolescent Law.

The qualitative model was used in the form of documentary research with a territory/location approach, which allowed to conclude that the triad of objects of knowledge was not a priority within the interests and trajectories of the legal and socio-legal research groups recognized and categorized until 2020; this does not mean that they had ceased to be an academic concern, especially the topic of Family Law.

Furthermore, it became clear that the concentration of the population interested in the objects of knowledge mentioned before, in the territory, corresponded to that of the academic community and training centers, which made the Andean region the scenario that registered the largest number of research projects. in Family, Childhood, and Adolescent Law.

Palavras-chave : Families; childhoods; adolescents; research project; line of research; research group.
