This article proposes the analysis of the epic fantasy literary works of three Latin American writers: Verónica Murguía, Liliana Bodoc, and Celso Román. The study will be developed from theoretical approaches about the epic fantasy of Sullivan, Hunt, and Castro. The article consists of five sections. The first introduces an approach to the concept of epic fantasy and the characteristics of this genre. In the second, Loba and El fuego verde by Verónica Murguía are analyzed. In the third, La saga de los confines of Liliana Bodoc will be treated. In the fourth, La saga de las lunas by Celso Román will be examined. Finally, we will propose some of the characteristics that could be typical of Latin American epic fantasy, considering what the works studied contribute to the genre and the reader's experience.
