By investigating the difficulties inherent to territorial reorganization processes fo llowing the impact of the damage associated with armed conflict, important issues to understand how people try to recover daily life when they do not fully receive State aid are identified. I am referring to the restoration of the moral ties necessary for collec tive organization and the defense of territories. This article discusses how emotions affect communities' ability to organize collectively; and the difficulties of State repa ration mechanisms, in three locations, in the Eastern Region of Antioquia.
