Psicogente is a popular science journal that belongs to the Universidad Simon Bolivar, it circulates six-monthly since 1998 in its printed edition; since 2008 in electronic format and, it is also in Open Access system. It takes care of the articles publication bases on a theoretical and empirical type with a basic and applied emphasis, providing that it fosters the scientific development of the psychological science, in its different fields and areas. No matter the model or methodological approach, the magazine expects to contribute with the disclosure and the exchange of the scientific and psychological knowledge in the national and international scenarios, opening a space for the Latin American scientific production to the visualization trying to become in a consulting source inside the psychological academic community in those scenarios. Nevertheless, the doors are wide open to those articles which since the social studies and humanities, and the cross curricular aspects contribute to the understanding of the Psyche.
