The Revista Ciencias de la Salud publishes original documents and revisions based on any basic or clinical discipline related to the health field, emphasizing the quantitative studies of analytical conception, qualitative studies like ethnographies, life stories and/or based thesis; and the ones related to diagnostic and epidemiologic methods. It admits papers on series studies or on case presentations, specially if they deal with problems of general interest, as well as works that contribute to the knowledge heritage of the history of health research.
