This paper presents the results of the doctoral thesis "Educational environment of schools in areas of armed conflict", research developed in the department of Putumayo, Southern Colombia, with field work aimed at both observation and the collection of stories about teachers, children and community members. The educational environments are set in the dynamics that constitute all of the educational processes, involving actions and life experiences. There are brewing attitudes and socio-material conditions that determine territories and relationships necessary for cultural purposes of reproduction. The development is considering three approaches: first, the historical, economic and social context; in second instance the cultural dynamics that have been formed from the sociability and socialization practices; in third place, psychosocial affectations in violence-generated dehumanization patterns in terms of Martín-Baró and Samayoa and affecting the naturalization of the Territories of Fear.
