Abstract

The different representations related to the peace process were analyzed, presented in the national news between 2015 and 2018, from the lexical, semantic and pragmatic levels, with the support of a textual corpus extracted from the printed and digital editions of El Tiempo and El Espectador. From the grammatical categories, nominalization and adjectivation were analyzed; at the sociolinguistic level, the lexical variation; and from semantics, the pragmatic context. These elements were found implicitly in both newspapers, from which the discourses and their arguments were constructed, thus evidencing a position and ideology of its own.
