Abstract
GUZMAN PRUDENCIO, Guillermo and POLO BLANCO, Jorge. THE DISCURSIVE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ECUADORIAN SUMAK KAWSAY AND ITS RELATION TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF GOOD LIVING. anal.polit. [online]. 2017, vol.30, n.89, pp.76-90. ISSN 0121-4705. https://doi.org/10.15446/anpol.v30n89.66218.
In this paper we will try to sketch out a critical analysis of the various discursive elements that make up the concept of Buen Vivir or Sumak Kawsay that much relevance has acquired in the social and political project developed in recent years by the government of the Republic of Ecuador, to the point of being embodied and enshrined in the current Constitution of 2008, linking it with the measurement and evaluation of their actual achievements of government action and public policy through a Buen Vivir Index. Checking whether the strategic development objectives stated in the National Plan for Good Living have been able to achieve, greater or lesser extent, and how they come to explain the discursive itineraries of the Sumak Kawsay.
