Study of Motivations that make more productives workers en companies has broaden to entrepreneurship area, which is a theme of great economic and academic interest. Based on motivational theories from Psychology, entrepreneurship researchers have done adaptations seeking major understanding of reasons that lead individuals to start and manage his own enterprises. Objective of this paper is showing the way how theoretical body of entrepreneur's motivation has developed, taking into account, both human motivation theories and categories used to classify them. At the end a model is proposed based on described theories.
