In this research, there is a study of the legal basis that should govern the typology and organizational legal forms of touristic intermediation companies and especially travel agencies. So, there were an effec tive functioning as the ones in Cuba, according to a new social and economic reality. In tourism, touristic intermediation is the activity that makes possible the development of others companies in the industry and serves as a link between the tourist and the remaining tourism companies; to that end, the legal bases were determined to sustain the activity to contribute to the improvement of their legal status. The results obtained with this theoretical and doctrinal study of touristic intermediation companies shows the har mony that demands internal tourism policy to achieve greater and more effective legal, backup operation.
