Abstract
OSPINA, Héctor Rabio; SALAZAR-CASTILLA, Mónica and VELASQUEZ-BURITICA, Valentina. Anti-Militarism as Life Perspective that Inhabits and Transits the Bodies of Young People in a Colombian Collective. Aleth. rev. desarro. hum. educ. soc. contemp. [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.1, pp.38-57. ISSN 2145-0366.
This article analyzes the results of the study titled "Mobilizations of Political Action by Young People in Colombia Based on Peace and Non-violence", from the Kolectivo Antimilitarista youth collective in the city of Medellín. These young people have been marked by violence, war, drug trafficking, paramilitary groups and militias, as well by the State as a generator of war and by the patriarchy that dominates their territories and bodies. This has resulted in these young people adopting anti-militarism perspectives and radical positions to say "no" to war, to the use weapons and to any type of domination in order to break away from the militarization of life through disobedience, conscientious objection and resistance.
Keywords : (Social Science Unesco Thesaurus): antimilitarism; conscientious objectors; youth; assemblies; (Authors): recognition, body, friendship.
