Scope and policy
|
The articles proposed for Análisis Político must contain at least one contribution and/or development in the explored central topic. They must avoid superfluous specialized language and they should trigger discussion. |
Form and preparation of manuscripts
|
The length of the texts will not be greater than 55,000 characters (without spaces, footnotes included) and must be written in Arial 11 , 1 ½ spaced sheets, letter size. Quotations in footnotes must be as follow : Book Kaldor Mary , New and Old Wars. Organized Violence in a Global Era , Cambridge , Polity Press, 1999, pp. 19-24. Book article Patterson James, "Estados Unidos desde 1945" , en Michael Howard y W. Roger Louis (Edit), Historia Oxford del siglo XX , Barcelona, Planeta, 1999, p. 270. Journal Article Hirsh Michael, "El mundo de Bush", en Foreign Affairs en español , otoño-invierno de 2002, p. 39. Newspaper Article Ignatieff Michael, "La carga de Estados Unidos", en El País , 8 de febrero de 2003, p. 3-A. The texts must be accompanied by an abstract in Spanish and English from 100 to 200 words, where the problem to be considered is easily identified, and by a short biographic abstract of the author with e-mail and current institutional link. After confirmation of reception, the text shall be submitted by the Editorial Board of the journal to an anonymous examiner (the magazine is arbitrated). The examiner's favorable or unfavorable opinion will be sent to the author through e-mail. |
