The Ingeniería y Universidad journal is edited and published by the School of Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana every six months; its main purpose is to promote and spread research and scientific work done in engineering. As such, it is aimed at engineering students, professional engineers, researchers, and more broadly, anyone interested in scientific and technological developments in engineering.

Its abbreviated title is Ing. Univ., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.

The articles published in Ingeniería y Universidad journal are indexed or summarized by:

Once a paper has been accepted for publication, the article in its entirety will be at the Journal’s disposal for its use whether directly or via intermediaries, whether in print or in electronic media, and will be free to publish it in print or electronic media, to keep it in electronic format for storage in its own Web sites or at any other publisher’s. The purpose of the above is to spread the relevant work among the national and international scientific and academic community and is strictly non-profit. Thus, the author or authors will submit a written authorization to allow the above mentioned publication outlets. The author or authors will keep moral and property rights.
