The Luna Azul Journal is an academic and refereed journal that publishes original articles that addresses environmental or ecological issues, scientific or technological development, original reflections, revisions or bibliographical reviews. The productions, reflections, analysis and revisions can come from any discipline or area of knowledge.

The contributions can be sent to lesga@une.net.co or luz.sepulveda@ucaldas.edu.co, which must be submitted in Word with marked texts (titles 1, 2 and 3), five key words, an abstract of up to 300 words and a cover letter of the article containing the author's curriculum vitae (see format), and clarifying the type of article sent (scientific research or technological development, original reflections, revisions or bibliographical reviews.)

The abstract and keywords must be sent in Spanish and English. Graphics, maps, photographs and figures should be presented in a separate file clearly identifying the place where each one should go. When identifying the author or authors should include college degrees, institutional affiliation and email address. Citations must be made in the text according to APA standards (available at http://www.intec.edu.do/biblioteca/pdf/APA/guiaAPA-Importante%5B2%5D.pdf). The notes should be reviewed at the end of the text and will be used for clarification, comments, discussions and suggestions made by the author, the references must follow APA standards (available at http://www.intec.edu.do/biblioteca/pdf/APA/guiaAPA-Importante%5B2%5D.pdf).

The contributions received will be subjected to the assessment of internal or external judges, as well as to copyediting, except with the prior written objection from the author.

The evaluation criteria and selection of articles to be published are:
• Conceptual and methodological rigor.
• Depth, importance and relevance of content.
• Text structure, style and grammar.

The Luna Azul Journal reserves the right to print, total or partial reproduction of the material, and the right to accept or reject an article and to make any changes it deems appropriate. If the article is satisfactorily evaluated, the author will receive written recommendations of the evaluators. Once the article is received with the requested adjustments, copyediting changes of the article will be made unless requested otherwise by the author.

The articles in this journal may be reproduced in entirely or partially, quoting the source and author. The collaborations that appear here do not necessarily reflect the thinking of the journal, and published under the responsibility of the authors.
